About Us

Our Story

Armitage House was founded by Tara Juniper, an engineer, educator, and researcher with a background in industrial engineering, science research, and systems thinking. Her work spans renewable energy systems, space-weather research conducted in collaboration with NASA-related research initiatives, education, and curriculum design, with a focus on translating complex scientific ideas into meaningful learning experiences for children.

Today, Armitage House serves homeschooling families through research-backed, project-based curriculum that integrates science, critical thinking, creativity, and real-world problem solving. Tara’s ongoing work in early childhood education informs learning experiences that are engaging, purposeful, and deeply human.
